Complex Nursing Care at Home
Our nurses deliver precise clinical interventions under strict medical direction, maintaining a direct nursing presence whenever complex therapies are active.
Every aspect of your clinical care is delivered by a qualified, NMC-registered nurse — so complex conditions, treatments and equipment are managed safely in your own home.
Extended and Overnight Nursing
Our service models are designed to flex around the complexity and intensity of each client's individual care needs.
Scheduled Visit Packages
Planned, structured nursing visits across a 24-hour period for specific clinical interventions, monitoring and treatment-related support.
Enhanced Nursing Packages
Continuous support, extended daytime durations, or overnight/waking night care for complex symptom management, high-risk monitoring, or end-of-life care.
Palliative and End-of-Life Nursing
Our registered nurses provide palliative and end-of-life nursing at home, including syringe driver setup and management to keep symptoms controlled and comfort maintained.
Care is delivered with dignity and sensitivity, with close attention to the person's comfort at every stage.
Hospital Discharge and Continuing Nursing Support
We provide continuing nurse-led clinical care at home following a hospital discharge — supporting a safe transition home.
Ongoing clinical monitoring and treatment-related support help keep recovery on track in familiar surroundings.
Specialist Clinical Interventions
Specialist clinical interventions delivered by our registered nurses include:
Airway & Respiratory Support
Management of established, stable tracheostomies, oxygen therapy administration and monitoring, and cough assist.
Infusion Therapy
Peripheral IV infusions of pre-prescribed medicines and fluids, with continuous 1-to-1 nursing presence maintained throughout.
Medication & Symptom Management
Syringe driver setup and management for end-of-life and palliative care, alongside standard complex medication administration.
Continence & Wound Care
Urethral catheterisation (indwelling and intermittent) utilising Aseptic Non-Touch Technique (ANTT), and advanced wound management.
Clinical Escort and Domestic Travel Support
At Quartz Nurses, we recognise that individuals living with complex health conditions may require specialist nursing support when attending medical appointments, travelling within the United Kingdom or participating in important family occasions.
Our nurse-led Clinical Escort and Domestic Travel Support service enables eligible existing clients to receive continuity of clinical care, observation and agreed nursing interventions during planned journeys.
Our services may include:
Hospital appointments, outpatient clinics and specialist consultations.
Clinical nursing support during domestic holidays and planned UK travel.
Clinical assistance during domestic airport transit.
Clinical observation and monitoring throughout the journey.
Prescribed medication administration and nursing interventions, where clinically appropriate.
Individualised clinical risk assessment and travel care planning.
Eligibility for Clinical Escort and Domestic Travel Support
This service is available to existing Quartz Nurses clients who have had an ongoing nursing care package with us for at least three consecutive months before their proposed travel date.
This allows our nurses to become familiar with your individual needs and plan your travel support around your established care. We offer this support as part of our continuing relationship with clients, rather than as a standalone travel service.
All requests are subject to comprehensive clinical and travel-specific risk assessments, suitable staffing, insurance verification, appropriate equipment and medication arrangements, and approval by the Registered Manager.
A family member, primary carer, legal representative or other appropriate responsible adult must accompany the client throughout the journey.
Quartz Nurses provides specialist clinical nursing support only. We do not provide transport, travel agency services, companionship, guardianship or medical equipment courier services. Transport and the physical transportation of required equipment, oxygen and medicines must be arranged by the client or their responsible representative.

Our Service Coverage
Quartz Clinical Staffing Ltd provides services to adults living within Swindon and Wiltshire. Care is delivered in service users' own homes and community settings, including urban and rural locations across the region.
The service will initially focus on Swindon and surrounding Wiltshire areas, including but not limited to Royal Wootton Bassett, Marlborough, Chippenham, Calne, Melksham, Devizes, Trowbridge, Pewsey, Malmesbury and Salisbury.
